-
Begin by making a part down the center of
the head.
-
Part the hair in half ovals on the left side,
and clip the rest of the hair on the left out of the way.
-
Part the hair on the right side in the same
way.
-
Starting on the left side, cornrow the first
half oval, following along the outer curve.
-
Continue on the next right half oval, following
along that outside curve.
-
Continue alternating left to right.
-
At the beginning of the first right half oval,
loop the initial strands you'll start the cornrow with under the first
stitch of the cornrow of the left half oval.
-
Bring these back to the right half oval, and
cornrow, following the outer curve.
-
When you come to the second oval, of which
the right side should already be cornrowed, loop the hair under this row.
-
Continue cornrowing along the second left
half oval.
-
When you come to the next oval, simply cornrow
over the existing row.
-
Alternate under and over until the end.
